A couple of years ago, when my boyfriend and I had first starting dating, his mom (who is an amazing cook), made a Chocolate Raspberry Tart. I don't know why I didn't try to make it sooner. Instead, I have constantly thought about how good it was, yet continued to bake familiar recipes. Finally, I decided to look up a few different recipes and chose this Chocolate Raspberry Tart that was featured on Martha Stewart. I struggled a tad with the crust (see slightly burnt crust photo below), but I have to say it was absolutely delicious! I suggest investing in the recommended fluted tart pan with a removable bottom. I will be picking one up since it is fairly difficult, if not impossible, to remove the tart without it crumbling into pieces. So in the end, was it better than my boyfriends moms? Honestly I can't really remember! I will be trying this recipe again to see if I can master it. This tart is definitely being added to my recipe list.
