Bridal Beauty x Lo❤erly

I was excited when Loverly approached me a few weeks ago to collaborate on a beauty post!  As a makeup artist I love to try different products and create new looks for my brides.  Check out my bridal beauty makeup picks inspired by the gorgeous gowns from Loverly.

Beach Goddess

I love this ivory cropped boho gown!  The scalloped lace edges on the top are gorgeous!  I picture this bride slipping it on after being out in the sun all day, just in time for her sunset wedding.  Her skin would be glowing of course, so I chose this bronzed look for her makeup.

Skin

For a fresh off the beach look, use a matte primer and a sheer foundation to even out the skin tone.  Set with a loose powder and use a shimmery bronzer on the face and décolletage to give the skin a sun-kissed glow.

Eyes

Create a soft eye using beiges, pinks, mauves and browns.  Slightly smudge liner at the lash line for a smokey look.  Use the darker brown in the outer corner under the eye and highlight with the metallic nude tone in the inner corner.

Lips

Use a pop of sheer, bright pink gloss.  This will bring colour to the lips but not overwhelm the look!

Rose Gold Romance

This classic wedding dress features a stunning embroidered bodice with a V neckline and a beautiful tulle skirt with a blush coloured lining. This girly gown is so romantic!  I chose a very soft and feminine makeup look to pair with the dress.

Skin

This look is all about rosey-glowing skin.  Mix the Giorgio Armani fluid sheer with your foundation to achieve all over radiant skin.  Add a little bronzer and pop on a pink blush.

Eyes

Keep the eyes light!  Use a cream shadow in gold or rose gold, then pat on a rose-coloured shadow.  Add a little drama by smudging a dark brown liner in the outer corner of the eye and lash line.  Layer individual lashes for a fuller lash look.

Lips

Define the lips with a pink liner and fill them in.  Use a shimmery gold gloss to finish the look.

Polish

I couldn't resist this nude base coat from Deborah Lippmann.  Wear it alone for a polished nude finish or layer your favourite soft pink on top!

Rustic Chic Beauty

I fell in love with this vintage lace wedding dress.  The delicate floral design on the bodice is stunning and my fav is the low back.  I chose a bolder makeup look to compliment this dress, the bride who wears it has no beauty limits!

Skin

Prime and use a light foundation for flawless skin.  Contour and highlight the face for a more sculpted look.  Use a peachy-pink blush swept upwards on the cheek bones.

Eyes

Use the lightest shade of the Charlotte Tilbury palette all over the lid, up to the brow bone.  Blend the rose toned shade into the crease and outer corner of the eye.  Take the darkest tone and smudge at the lash line, then repeat under the eye.  Pop the shimmery gold colour in the inner corner of the eye.  Finish with winged liquid liner.

Lips

For a more dramatic look try a bold red lipstick.  If you want to keep it soft, use a nude lipstick topped with a pink gloss.
