We started by prepping the skin with a hydrating moisturizer, followed by primer. Use a small amount of both and really work them into the skin to avoid thick layers of product. Alex has beautiful skin so we applied the light-weight Jouer tint in Golden to help even out the skin tone. Next, we concealed and dusted on a loose powder. Alex specified that bronzer was a must! I contoured with a matte bronzer before applying a soft pink blush and highlighting powder to the cheek bones.
Alex really wanted to keep her makeup simple and elegant, so we kept the eye look very clean. I used the Naked basics palette and lined the eye with the Bobbi Brown long wear eyeliner. I applied the matte camille Anastasia brow duality pencil in the lower waterline and sand shimmer on the inner corner to brighten the eye. We added extra volume to the lashes with Ardell double flare medium knot-free individuals. See my tips for application here.
After trying a lip liner and lipstick we decided to stick with Alex's favourite Bobbi Brown gloss in Popsicle!
