Function Health Club: Tips For The Bride-To-Be

The months leading up to a wedding is an exciting and sometimes stressful time.  Every bride wants to look her best, feel great and have tons of energy on her wedding day.  Most importantly she needs to make it through all the crazy preparation!  With the wedding pressure on and extra commitments making you feel strapped for time, even a seasoned athlete can struggle with sticking to a regular fitness routine.

Here are some tips to help you stay fit leading up to the wedding.  

  1. Join a group training class.  Working out with a friend will help keep you on track.  This is a great opportunity to do some extra bonding with your bridesmaids too!  Most fitness companies are happy to create specialized group training programs and will usually throw in some extras for the bride.
  2. Consider online training.  This is an easy way to get quality guidance for your workouts without having to make yet another appointment to see someone.  Your time is precious, the less people you have to coordinate with, the better!
  3. Spilt your workouts up.  Doing 15 mins of exercise 3x/day is proven to be just as effective a 45min workout once a day.  See below for examples of quick at home workouts.
