St. Martin + Anguilla
We have almost been home for a week now and I have spent most of my time catching up on emails and getting back into a routine. I also have been going through photos of our trip! Here is the last post in my travel series from our time in the Caribbean. You can see the first one here + second here.
For the last leg of our Holiday we sailed to St. Martin for a few days, seeing quite a few impressive super yachts along the way. The first night we anchored in Marigot Bay, where we relaxed and went for a nice dinner out. Next we headed to Grand Case which is a smaller town with a ton of charm. We explored Grand Case for most of the day then stopped at Calmos Cafe to have burgers on the beach. The next day we headed back to Marigot Bay for one more day to explore the Dutch side of the island, stopping at the airport to do the ultimate tourist activity, watch the planes come in right over us!
Our second to last day was spent sailing across to Anguilla (the best sail of the entire trip). I don't have many photos from Anguilla, mainly because we were too busy swimming at the gorgeous beach and drinking Rum Punch from Elvis's Beach Bar! For our last day we headed up the island to see Shoal Bay before catching the ferry back across to St. Martin to head home. It was a vacation I will never forget and spending a couple of days on Anguilla was the perfect way to end the trip!
